Second Hand Trailer Price Guide

from Western Towing – www.westerntowing.co.uk

We have developed this simple calculator to help give you an idea of the value of a trailer. There are so many factors that can affect the value so this calculator just takes into account its purchase price, age and condition.

The results will give an idea as to the value if you were to trade the trailer in or if you were to sell it privately. We hope you find this useful, If you have any comments or feedback we would love to hear from you.

The values given assume the trailer is in a legal and roadworthy condition with parts such as mudguards, lights, tyres, brakes, coupling and jockey wheel all fitted and in working order.

VAT: If you are registered for vat you should charge vat on a trade-in or a private sale.

Please note: The values are a guide only, there are many factors that can affect the value of a trailer. An average sized trailer is likely to be easier to sell and therefore also likely to obtain a higher price than a ‘special’ which it may be harder to find a buyer so the price may need to be reduced. Other factors include the trailer make as well as the area in the country you are situated.

Western Towing will in no way be responsible for the accuracy of the figures and will not enter into any correspondence or disputes of any kind resulting from their use.
