Every type of vehicle benefits from regular maintenance and trailers are no exception. However, eventually replacing an axle becomes more economical then replacing parts especially in welding is required.

BPW have made many axles used on caravans and trailers over many years. We can normally supply an identical replacement BPW axle from the information contained on the Identification Plate. This is usually fitted to the centre of the axle, sometimes we need more information like the chassis number, make of trailer/caravan etc. as well. This is to make sure that no error was made when the original information was registered and if the numbers on the plate are not easy to read.
Please first take a clear picture of your axle plate (Unfortunately this may mean getting under your caravan or trailer) this is the only way a replacement axle can be produced swiftly and efficiently.
BPW ID plates are usually a rectangle with the BPW logo. The code number is often in the top left hand corner and is 10 digits separated with several dots.
